While Verdict Ridge in Denver NC is not exactly South of SouthPark we just love this area of “Charlotte” ~ Rhonda helped two couples relocate from Long Island New York & they LOVE IT!. Verdict Ridge is what the locals call Lake Norman West ~ the quiet side of Lake Norman…once a sleepy B side of the fantastic Lake Norman area….developments like Verdict Ridge have made this one of Charlotte’s (actually Denver proper) most popular golfing communities. Perfect if you’re relocating to the area | ie Chiquita | residents love that they live just far enough away to leave the city buzz behind and enjoy a quite retreat. As for commuting, 22 miles to Uptown Charlotte and highway 485 makes its easy peasy.

I don’t know if Barbara and Stephen are persnickety per se but I do know their home is immaculate, beautiful and cozy…remember after all it was found guilty of being PERFECT! Barbara tells us in her homestory that they built the home ten years ago (it still looks brand new) – persnickety or not these folks have one of the nicest homes we’ve seen. The inside is complemented nicely on the outside with passionate landscaping, flowers and unique trees including a Harry Lauder’s Walking Stick or for you botanists out there…corylus avellana ‘contorta’. Words do not do this home justice (pun intended) – if you are in the market for a ranch right on the golf course then this a MUST SEE!
