A HomeStory is kinda like a box of chocolates…you never know what you’re gonna get.
Reading Joyce Dolley’s story about relocating to Charlotte and having to live in a hotel with a husband, three kids (OK that’s four kids!) and a big dog reminded me at first of a Chevy Chase Vacation movie…but then as I read about her neighbors in Fort Mill’s Dominion Bridge community…
“Move in day – All I can say is WOW!!! The neighbors are the most friendly, welcoming and caring people that I have ever met in my life. The day we got here everyone came over introduced themselves, their kids, even brought us fresh tomatoes from their garden!”
….I couldn’t help but think of Ozzie and Harriet (I found the perfect episode ~ New Neighbor)
(Warning: 1954 was a LOT simpler time, a LONG way from Wisteria Lane)
Chevy Chase, Forrest Gump, Ozzie & Harriet that’s a lot of metaphors for one post …but isn’t life just like that! The point is moving is hard even if your relocating to a wonderful place like Charlotte! Finding the perfect home to buy can be pretty stressful – OK it can be a nightmare. That’s why I still love what Rhonda says about helping clients buy or sell a home…
Bottom linehelping you buy or sell a home is my job, not yours. While its not always easy I work very hard so you dont have to. I want you to enjoy the processafter all buying a home is fun, remember? (we think you’ll enjoy our About Us page it’s kinda fun & different)
Fort Mill is a wonderful “suburb” of Charlotte – the kind of place Harriet would have loved. Close enough to commute to Uptown Charlotte (<20 miles) to Ballantyne for movies and restaurants (10 miles) and to the best shopping mall in the Southeast, SouthPark Mall (<16 miles). So why not just live in Ballantyne or Southpark? Because Fort Mill is fantastic, small town feel, low South Carolina taxes and excellent schools…and most of all because the neighbors are well…why don’t I let Joyce tell you the rest of her HomeStory…
If you’re in the market for a great four bedroom, two and half bath home in wonderful Fort Mill we hope you’ll check out 548 Veloce Trail….this house is just waiting for someone to make it home and create their own HomeSory!
Watch the virtual tour right here…
Oh and how could I not leave you with a little Forrest Gump…yeah buying a home really is kinda like a box of chocolates…
