Our beloved Charlotte Observer buries the lead in paragraph five. “Charlotte is among one of the bright spots…” OK we get it the real estate market is bad…everywhere. But I have to tell you things in Charlotte are getting better…they’re building a big new Kohls in Blakeney…I See banks and other retail stores popping up all over** and of course next summer we’ll have 30,000 new visitors for the Democratic National Convention. Charlotte will be the center or worldwide media attention and we will look fabulous.  **why would they do that, hmmm?
